Notes: The data referring to 'Labour' and those in Tables 23-4, 23-5 and 23-6 are provided by Employment Survey.
Since the population estimates, which serve as the base for statistical inference in the Employment Survey,
have been adjusted after Census 2001, the resulting indicators for the previous periods before 2001 were thus revised accordingly.
Figures of 2001 are subject to revisions as more data become available.
In compliance with the definition of residency recommended by the International Monetary Fund (IMF),
figures for the years from 1998 to 2000 were adjusted accordingly.
Pataca (MOP) is the legal tender in the Macao Special Administrative Region, as stated in "The Basic Law of the Macao Special
Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China".
Excluded students in special education. The number of students of year n refer to the students at the end of academic year n/n+1.
The Chinese term used in the publications of the Macao Special Administrative Region is "本地生产总值".
