	DECREE W 10367/K OF 11 NOVEMBER 1947

	The President of the Lebanese Republic, Whereas the Lebanese Constitution, Whereas the Merchant Shipping Law, notably article 211, paragraph I, On the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Public Works, Decrees the following:


SUBJECT : Stating the carrier's liability in respect

TEXT :

Article 1:
The carrier's liability shall be assumed by unit or by parcel lost or damaged in the course of transport at a maximum LL. 1000 if the carrier has failed to declare in the Bill of Lading the quality and value of the goods, before loading it on board.

Article 2:
The present decree shall be notified wherever there shall be need.
