In order to protect people's health, maintain the environmental safety, eliminate the outmoded products and implement the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for the Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade and the Stockholm Convention on Lasting Organic Pollutants, in accordance with the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Goods, the Catalogue of Commodities Prohibited from Import (6th Batch) and the Catalogue of Commodities Prohibited from Export (3rd Batch) are hereby promulgated and shall come into force as of January 1st, 2006.
