	CIRCULAR OF THE STATE ADMINISTRATION FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON THE RELEVANT ISSUES AFTER CANCELLATION OF THE EXAMINATION AND APPROVAL OF THE COPY OF BUSINESS LICENSE AFFIXED WITH THE OFFICIAL STAMP OF THE ORIGINAL REGISTRATION AUTHORITY

In accordance with Item 560 of the Decision of the State Council on Cancellation of the First Group of Administrative Examination and Approval Items (No.24 [2002] of the State Council) on cancellation of the "examination and approval of the copy of business license affixed with the official stamp of the original registration authority", the relevant issues after cancellation of the affixation of stamp of the copy of business license are hereby notified as follows:

I. The authorities of industry and commerce administration at various levels shall, from the day of receipt of this Circular, stop affixing the stamp of the original registration authority on the copy of the business licenses of the enterprises. Where an enterprise needs to submit the copy of business license to the relevant authority of enterprise registration or the relevant departments, that enterprise shall copy the business license, and indicate on the copy that it is consistent with the original and affix the official stamp of the enterprise.

II. Where a company established pursuant to the Company Law of the People's Republic of China sets up any branch, the registration authority of the branch shall, apart from executing pursuant to the aforesaid provisions and after making registration of the branch, submit the registration of the branch by written form to the registration authority of the parent company for record.

III. Where an enterprise branch not qualified as a corporation goes through the annual examination, it shall submit the copy of the business license of its parent enterprise to its registration authority, and shall indicate on the copy that it is consistent with the original and affix the official stamp of the enterprise.
