Regarding the No. 536 [2000] "Request for Instruction on How to Determine the Effectiveness Date of the Death Sentence with A Suspension of Execution", upon study, we hereby give our reply as follows:
In accordance with Article 51 of the Criminal Law, the time period for death sentence with a suspension of execution shall be calculated as of the date when the legal document which judges or orders the approval of the death sentence with a two-year suspension of execution is declared or served.
