The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress discussed the definition of "credit card" provided in the Criminal Law by taking judicial practices into consideration, and hereby gives the interpretations as below:
The "credit card" provided in the Criminal Law refers to the electronic payment cards issued by the commercial banks or other financial institutions, which possesses all or some of the functions of, e.g., consumption payment, getting loans, transfer account settlement, and depositing and drawing cash, etc.
