In order to strengthen the administration of foreign-funded insurance institutions' representative agencies in China, and to strictly carry out the Measures for the Administration of Foreign-Funded Insurance Institutions' Representative Agencies in China (hereinafter referred to Measures), the following notice is hereby issued concerning the relevant matters:

I. The insurance regulatory offices shall, strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Measures, make preliminary examination or examination and approval of the relevant applications filed by the foreign-funded insurance institutions' representative agencies in China within their respective jurisdictions, and shall, pursuant to the requirements of the Measures, put on record the prescribed matters with China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) in good time.

II. The insurance regulatory offices shall strengthen the daily supervision and administration of the foreign-funded insurance institutions' representative agencies in China within their respective jurisdictions, and if finding any problems, report the relevant information to CIRC in good time.

III. The insurance regulatory offices shall, prior to March 15 of each year, finish the statistics of the work reports and annual reports submitted by the foreign-funded insurance institutions' representative agencies in China within their respective jurisdictions, and report the relevant information to CIRC.
