It was decides at the 11th Session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress to approve the Convention on the Cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Uzbekistan on Striking Terrorism, Splittism and Extremism, which was signed by Li Zhaoxing, minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the People's Republic of China at Tashkent on September 4, 2003.
