Pursuant to the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation and the Measures for the Administration of Certification Certificates and Marks (Order No.63 [2004] of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine), the State implements an archival filing system for the accreditation marks (hereinafter referred to as the archival filing of marks) as created by the accreditation institutions themselves. All accreditation institutions shall go through the archiving filing of marks at the Administration prior to July 25, 2005, and shall assume corresponding administrative legal liabilities by themselves if they fail to do so within the time limit. The notice on the matters concerning the archival filing of marks is hereby given as follows:
I. Archival filing scope: all accreditation institutions shall make a specimen of the accreditation marks (including symbols used), words and names by themselves.
II. Archival filing requirements: all accreditation institutions shall submit the specimen of the accreditation marks (including the symbols used), words, names, scope of application, identification methods and how to use them in written form. If there are physical objects of the accreditation marks, they shall be submitted (two for each mark) too.
