It was decided at the sixth session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress to convene the second session of the Tenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on March 5, 2004. The main agenda of the session suggested shall include: listening to and discussing the government work report, examining and approving the Report on the Implementation of National Economic and Social Development Plan for 2003 and the National Economic and Social Development Plan for 2004; examining the Report on Performance of the Central and Local Budgets for 2003 and the Draft on Central and Local Budgets for 2004, approving the Report on Performance of the Central Budget for 2003 and the Central Budget for 2004; discussing the Motion of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Proposing for Deliberation the Amendments to the Constitution of the People's Republic of China (Draft); listening to and discussing the work report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the work report of the Supreme People's Court, and the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
