According to the spirit of the Notice on Further Strengthening the Administration of Tourism Markets, which was jointly issued by the National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, a general survey is to be made on the overseas enterprises' representative travel offices in China from January to July of 1997 (Specific proposals are attached below.) in order to strengthen the administration of overseas enterprises' representative travel offices in China. You are requested to cooperate with each other and to unite the related local departments to carry out the general survey pursuant to the proposals, and to timely report the relevant information separately to the National Tourism Administration and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

Each tourism bureau is requested to designate a contact person, and to report his name, telephone number and fax number to the National Tourism Administration immediately.
