	CIRCULAR OF CHINA INSURANCE REGULATORY COMMISSION ON THE DESIGNATION OF NEWSPAPERS FOR DISCLOSING INSURANCE INFORMATION

In order to adapt to the needs of the rapid development of China's insurance industry, and to strengthen the work of disclosing insurance information, China Insurance Regulation Commission (CIRC) has decided through deliberation to designate 7 newspapers, namely the Economic Daily, Financial Times, Shanghai Securities News, Securities Daily, Securities Times, China Securities Journal, and China Insurance News, as the designated newspapers for the disclosure of insurance information. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:

I. The insurance agencies shall, pursuant to the relevant provisions of CIRC on the disclosure of insurance information, make full use of the designated newspapers for disclosure, and earnestly carry out the work of information disclosure.

II. The CIRC departments shall, pursuant to the relevant provisions, urge the insurance agencies to promptly and faithfully disclose the information, and thus to further enhance the transparency of the insurance industry, and to truly protect the rights and interests of the insurants and the insured.

III. The CIRC departments, insurance agencies, insurance associations, and insurance institutes shall make full use of the designated newspaper for disclosure, further strengthen the publicity of insurance, keep expanding the social influence of the insurance industry, and strive to create a favorable environment of public opinion for the sustained, rapid and healthy development of China's insurance industry.
