	DECISION OF THE CIVIL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION OF CHINA ON AMENDING THE RULES OF CHINA ON THE DOMESTIC CIVIL AIR TRANSPORT OF PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE

	(Promulgated by Order No.124 of the Civil Aviation Administration of China on July 12, 2004, and shall come into force as of August 12, 2004)

Pursuant to the planning for reforming domestic air transport prices approved by the relevant decision of the State Council, the Civil Aviation Administration of China decides to make the following amendments to the Rules of China on the Domestic Civil Air Transport of Passengers and Luggage (CCAR£271TR£R1), which was promulgated by the Order No.49 of the Civil Aviation Administration of China on February 28, 1996:

1. Paragraphs 1 through 3 of Article 15 shall be amended as:

"Any revolutionary disabled armyman or any people's policeman who becomes disabled on duty may buy a ticket at the price of 50% ordinary adult fare of same airline upon the strength of the certificate of revolutionary disabled armyman of the People's Republic of China or the certificate of consolation of a disabled people's policeman of the People's Republic of China respectively.

A child may buy a child ticket at the price of 50% ordinary adult fare of same airline and shall be provided with a seat.

A baby may buy a child ticket at the price of 10% ordinary adult fare of same airline and shall not be provided with a seat; if a separate seat is required, a child ticket shall be bought.

When an airline company sells the said preferential tickets, no restriction like the time limit for buying tickets may be affixed."

2. Items (1) and (2) of Paragraph 1 of Article 22 and Articles 29 and 30 shall be deleted.

The Rules of China on the Domestic Civil Air Transport of Passengers and Luggage (CCAR£271TR£R1), promulgated by Order No.49 of the Civil Aviation Administration of China on February 28, 1996, shall be amended pursuant to the present Decision and be republished.

The present Decision shall come into force as of August 12, 2004.
