	DECISION OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE ON AMENDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE MEASURES FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES OF THE LAW FIRMS OF HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION AND MACAO SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION STATIONED IN THE MAINLAND

	(Order of the Ministry of Justice (No. 104), December 22, 2006: The Decision of the Ministry of Justice on Amending the Administrative Measures for the Representative Offices of the Law Firms of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region Stationed in the Mainland, which was adopted through deliberation at the executive meeting of the Ministry of Justice on December 1, 2006, is hereby promulgated, and shall be implemented as of January 1, 2007. )

In order to promote the closer economic partnership between Hong Kong, Macao and Mainland, and according to the Supplementary Agreement III on Hong Kong/Mainland Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement and the Supplementary Agreement III on Macao/Mainland Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement as approved by the State Council, we decided to revise Article 19 in the Administrative Measures for the Representative Offices of the Law Firms of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region Stationed in the Mainland as follows: "The representatives of a representative office may decide the time for residing in the Mainland on his own initiative."

This Decision shall be implemented as of January 1, 2007.

The Administrative Measures for the Representative Offices of the Law Firms of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region Stationed in the Mainland (Promulgated by Order No.70 of the Ministry of Justice and Revised by Order No. 84 of the Ministry of Justice) shall be amended correspondingly according to this Decision and promulgated once again.
