It was decided at the 19th Session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress to ratify the Treaty on Criminal Judicial Assistance between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Peru, which was signed by Zhou Wenzhong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the People's Republic of China in Lima on January 27, 2005.
