The 17th session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress decides to ratify the Convention concerning Discrimination in Respect of Employment and Occupation (1958) adopted at the 42nd conference of the International Labor Organization on June 25, 1958, and simultaneously declares that before the Government of the People's Republic of China gives a separate notice, the Convention concerning Discrimination in Respect of Employment and Occupation (1958) doesn't apply to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China for the time being.
