It was decided at the third meeting of the 10th National People's Congress that the People's Republic of China shall join the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, the Amended Protocol of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia and the Second Amended Protocol of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.
